White Hat Research & Policy Group began in 2018 as an outgrowth of White Hat Democrats. WHRPG seeks to correct the deficit of ideas in Arizona policy-making. While well-funded conservative groups like the Goldwater Institute have long driven the policy conversation in the state, there has been no one responding from a progressive point of view until now.
WHRPG drives meaningful dialogue on issues important to Arizona through data driven research, policy, and advocacy. As we face the erosion of our democratic institutions, WHRPG works to protect them by conducting policy research, educating voters, and informing legislators on our focus issues. These include Civic Engagement, Economic Development, Education, Criminal Justice, Human Services, as well as Technology & Innovation. With your help we want to make our state a better place.
